The History
1971 John G. McLeod founded JMC Service as a part time summer
business, located in Bolton Landing. This business serviced the Lake
George area.
1976 John took on his son Robert G. McLeod (Bob) and trained him in
the business field.
1978 Bob graduated from Hudson Valley Community College.
1983 Bob took over the business completely making JMC Service &
Sales a year round business. Bob has worked for several companies
over the years bringing in wider experience to JMC.
1985 JMC opened a retail store in Bolton selling machinery, parts,
and materials of the trade.
1991 JMC had to close its retail operation due to the changing
economy, but maintained field operations part time
1997 JMC is now a full time operation serving an area from:
Albany to Plattsburg
